How do I use MyPUSPAKOM to make an appointment online?

A:

Firstly, you need to log on to website www.mypuspakom.com.my or download mypuspakom app from google play (version 4.4 and above) to create a mypuspakom account with a valid e-mail account.

You may register the account under an individual’s name or a company’s name. Follow the registration process shown on the screen for registration of an individual or a company account.

For the registration of a company's accounts, relevant documents should be attached during the registration and it is subject to the approval of PUSPAKOM. Company registration can only be done through the website only.

You will receive an email notification to confirm if the account is successfully being registered.

Q:

What if I cannot log in to the account or forget the MyPUSPAKOM account password?

A:

Passwords are case-sensitive and must have a combination of uppercase letters, lowercase letters and numbers. You can change the password at any time by clicking on the Forgot Password link.

Q:

What is the difference between an individual account and a company account?

A:

If you register under a company’s account, you can view all vehicles’ records that have been registered in the company's account. To make an appointment, you may click on the particular vehicle which needs an inspection. If you register under an individual account, you need to fill in all the details of a vehicle to make an appointment.

Make New Appointment

Q:

How do I make a new appointment?

A:

After you have successfully registered with MyPUSPAKOM, you can sign in to the account via MyPUSPAKOM website www.mypuspakom.com.my or through MyPUSPAKOM app. Select 'New Appointment' and complete the information as required in the column provided. Here are the 7 steps to complete the appointment process as follows:

  1. Fill in the vehicle details
  2. Select the type of inspecti
  3. Select the inspection centre and time slot
  4. Key in details of the person who will attend for inspection
  5. Confirm reservation details
  6. View summary of appointment details
  7. Make payment

Q:

Is it compulsory for me to make an appointment?

A:

You are encouraged to make an appointment for vehicle inspection at any PUSPAKOM inspection centres via MyPUSPAKOM for convenience and better time management. Alternatively, you can also "walk-in".

Q:

Apart from MyPUSPAKOM, can I call any inspection centre or 03-51017000 to make an appointment?

A:

Once MyPUSPAKOM is implemented, the booking line at 03-51017000 or at any inspection centres will no longer in service.

Q:

If I do not know how to use online booking system, what can I do?

A:

You may refer to "Your Guide To MyPUSPAKOM" which is available on MyPUSPAKOM website or app. Alternatively, you can contact PUSPAKOM Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210 for any assistance.

Q:

When can I make an appointment through MyPUSPAKOM and can I make an appointment on the same day of inspection?

A:

An appointment can be made through MyPUSPAKOM as early as 6 months and no later than 24 hours before the date of inspection.

Q:

Will I get a Reservation Confirmation Slip after an appointment has been successfully made? What if have two or more appointments, how many Reservation Confirmation Slip will I get?

A:

You will receive a Reservation Confirmation Slip for every successful transaction via registered mail.

Q:

What if I do not know what kind of inspection is required, who can I refer to?

A:

MyPUSPAKOM will show information on the types of inspection before an appointment is made. Alternatively, you can call PUSPAKOM Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210 for assistance.

Q:

Can any of PUSPAKOM inspection centres help me to make an appointment through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

Appointment can only be done by you through your MyPUSPAKOM account. PUSPAKOM inspection centres or its employees are not able to make appointment on your behalf.

Q:

Is there any limit for companies with multiple subsidiaries, on the number of MyPUSPAKOM account and appointment made?

A:

There is no limit.

Q:

What is the maximum number of vehicle I can make appointment at one time?

A:

There is no limit on the number of vehicle you can make an appointment at one time.

Payment

Q:

What are the payment method options provided in MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

Currently MyPUSPAKOM only allows payment via Credit Card and Debit Card. Online payment method via FPX will be accepted in the upcoming phase.

Q:

Besides inspection fee, is there any other charge?

A:

A processing fee of RM3.50 will be charged for every successful appointment made through MyPUSPAKOM.

Q:

Can I make payment for inspection fee through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

You are required to make payment online through MyPUSPAKOM in order to confirm your appointment.

Q:

Can I make an appointment without payment through MyPUSPAKOM and pay at inspection centre by cash later?

A:

MyPUSPAKOM requires all the payments to be made online.

Q:

Will I receive a tax invoice after appointment made through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

Every successful appointment made through MyPUSPAKOM, tax invoice will be emailed to your registered email address. You can save or print the tax invoice.

Q:

Does MyPUSPAKOM facilitate post-paid payment method?

A:

MyPUSPAKOM does not accept post-paid payment method. However, the Corporate Advance Payment Scheme will be introduced in near future for the convenience of customers who need to make many appointments at one time.

Q:

How can I check inspection fee through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

Upon selecting the types of inspection and vehicle on MyPUSPAKOM, the inspection fee will be shown automatically. Alternatively, you may also check the inspection fee through PUSPAKOM website at www.puspakom.com.my.

Q:

Can I check out the details and status of a successful appointment?

A:

You can sign in to MyPUSPAKOM, details and status of all successful appointments will be shown in "Upcoming Appointments".

Q:

Can I retrieve the Reservation Confirmation Slip?

A:

You can sign in to MyPUSPAKOM, look out for "Upcoming Appointments", select and click the appointment number or registration number to retrieve or download the Reservation Confirmation Slip.

Q:

What are the documents required for inspection?

A:

You will be advised on the documents you need to bring along during the inspection before confirmation of the reservation details on MyPUSPAKOM. You may also refer to the Reservation Confirmation Slip to check what are the documents required.

Q:

Can I check my previous appointment?

A:

Yes. Records of your previous appointment will be shown on your MyPUSPAKOM account.

Q:

If I encounter any problems when making an appointment on MyPUSPAKOM, what should I do?

A:

You may contact PUSPAKOM's Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210.

Change of Appointment Details

Q:

Can I amend my appointment details after the appointment is confirmed?

A:

Any amendments such as inspection date, time, inspection centre and other details after the confirmation can only be done by calling to the Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210. Amendment can be made not less than 48 hours before the inspection date. Change of vehicle number is strictly not allowed.

Is there any charge for change of appointment date and time?

A:

No charges will be imposed for change of appointment date and time.

Q:

Can I add on the type of inspection on the same vehicle after the payment has been made?

A:

If the payment has been made, you have to make a new appointment for different types of inspections for the vehicle.

Cancellation of Appointment

Q:

Can I cancel my appointment that has been made? What are charges?

A:

You may cancel your appointment by calling PUSPAKOM Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210 no later than 5.00 pm of your inspection date. Cancellation of appointment is free of charge and customer is allowed to claim for refund of the inspection fee.

Refund of Payment

Q:

How can I get a refund?

A:

If you fulfil the criteria of refunding, you need to fill in the form which will be emailed to you after the cancellation of appointment has been acknowledged. You need to return the form to PUSPAKOM within 3 working days for processing. Please refer to the terms and conditions for refund.

MyPUSPAKOM aims to help customer to better manage time and make booking process easier and faster as appointment and payment can be done online anytime and anywhere.

When does MyPUSPAKOM come into effect and does it apply to all inspection centres?

A:

MyPUSPAKOM will be implemented on 28 August 2017 at PUSPAKOM Padang Jawa and Shah Alam for appointment for inspection date of 11 September 2017 onwards. MyPUSPAKOM will be implemented in stages at all PUSPAKOM inspection centres beginning September 2017.

Why are the benefits of using MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

With MyPUSPAKOM, customers do not need to make booking by calling Call Centre or PUSPAKOM Inspection Centres according to our operation hours. On top of that, information related to the inspection slot will be shown to the customers on MyPUSPAKOM.

Q:

How long does it take to complete an inspection for those with appointment made through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

It will take not more than 1 hour from the time of arrival.

Q:

How can I find out the location and contact number of a PUSPAKOM Inspection Centre?

A:

The address and location of an inspection centre will be shown upon selection of your preferred inspection centre.

Alternatively, customer may log on to PUSPAKOM website www.puspakom.com.my to get a list of puspakom branch information.

Q:

Do I need to bring along the Reservation Confirmation Slip upon arrival for inspection?

A:

You need to bring along the Reservation Confirmation Slip with the QR code printed on a print copy or displayed on a mobile device*.

* QR code display must have a maximum brightness and is not blocked by objects or other tinted layers.

Q:

If a vehicle is blacklisted, can an appointment be made?

A:

Blacklisted vehicles cannot make an appointment.

Q:

Is there any reminder for confirmed appointment before the date of appointment?

A:

You will be notified by e-mail one day before the inspection date for every successful transaction made.

Q:

Can I go to another inspection centre other than the inspection centre where I have made appointment with?

A:

You must go to the inspection centre where you have made appointment with.

Q:

What is the grace period for appointment time?

A:

You should present 20 minutes before or not later than 10 minutes of the appointment time.

Q:

What should I do when I arrive at the PUSPAKOM inspection centre on the appointment time?

A:

Follow the special appointment lane, scan the QR code at the scanner terminal before proceed to the registration counter.

Q:

Can I still be represented by any representative even though I do not appoint representative?

A:

You are allowed to appoint any representative with the condition that you complete and submit “Borang Pelepasan Tanggungan” form which can be downloaded from PUSPAKOM website.

Q:

What if the PUSPAKOM inspection centre which I have made appointment with does not operate on the appointment date?

A:

You may refer to the respective Branch Manager or contact Customer Support Centre at 1-800-22-2210 for further clarification.

General Information (For commercial vehicles only)

Q:

In the event that I have obtained permission from the Road Transport Department for "open date" inspection, do I still need to make appointment through MyPUSPAKOM?

A:

You are encouraged to make an appointment for vehicle inspection at any PUSPAKOM inspection centres via MyPUSPAKOM for convenience and better time management.

Q:

Can I make an appointment if the date of Inspection Certificate has expired?

A:

You can still make an appointment for the inspection of vehicle that the date of Inspection Certificate has expired. However, relevant documents need to be presented at the date of inspection.

Does re-inspection need appointment and what is the charge?

A:

You are encouraged to make an appointment for vehicle inspection. A processing fee of RM3.50 will be charged for every successful appointment made through MyPUSPAKOM.
